As a Sr. Principal, Platform Architecture – Teamcenter, you will enable systems-based design, modeling, development, validation, and transfer to downstream operations that ultimately result in the launch of new medical devices that preserve, protect and restore sight for millions of patients. You will be expected to provide technical direction to the team, and guidance to the customer base on the application of tools and best practice methodology within Alcon R&D, IT, Manufacturing, Quality and many other functions to design and implement solutions that serve to streamline the way we work including but not limited to technical development, validation, technology transfer, and ongoing lifecycle management / support for our products. Success in this role will require direct and indirect leadership of a customer-oriented team with the ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of related experience.
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience.
• Strong experience architecting and configuring the Siemens suite – Polarion and Teamcenter.
• Deep knowledge of Polarion & Teamcenter modules, architecture, data models, and configuration.
• Experience with Teamcenter customization tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with web services and integration frameworks for connecting with third-party applications.
• Understanding data migration and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and map them to technical solutions.
• Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with validation of GxP applications.
• Experience in regulated industry (Medical devices).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain architectural blueprints, functional / technical specifications, and design documents for Teamcenter solutions.
• Provide solutions that meet platform and IT compliance standards.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and customization of Teamcenter's client and server-side components.
• Design and implement integrations between Teamcenter and other enterprise applications.
• Guide development teams, mentor junior architects, and ensure technical implementation aligns with industry best practices.
• Effectively communicate technical strategies and solution designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with vendors and internal IT teams to oversee the upgrades and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter modules.
• Plan and execute data migration activities, often involving ETL processes.
• Analyze complex business challenges and develop effective, innovative solutions.
