We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Operations Planner/Assistant Program Manager to join our team that works onsite at McDill AFB in Florida.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to undergo a CI poly, if required
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelors' degree and 8 years' experience supporting planning, staffing, or coordination efforts in support of military requirements or Masters' degree and 6 years' experience supporting planning, staffing, or coordination efforts in support of military requirements. 12 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience supporting senior staff or officers

  • 12 years' experience supporting planning, staffing, or coordination efforts in support of military requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working with the Department of War or Intelligence Community (IC) in operational planning at the staff level.
  • Previous military headquarters staff or IC experience
  • Previous joint planning experience
  • Experience supporting Military or IC operational planning
  • Experience supporting operational planning in support of military requirements
  • Experience briefing senior US military officials
  • Familiarity with DoD Joint Planning Process
  • Team builder, collaborator, effective communicator, capacity to manage senior level engagements
  • Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints
  • Able to provide direction to determine priorities to achieve goals

Responsibilities

  • Support US Central Command with operational planning and deconfliction with a focus on tactical campaigns.
  • Will work coordinating with staff elements from the COCOM to the Joint Staff, so need to understand the nexus between intelligence and operations in planning.
  • Brief senior DoW officers and planners providing advice on the availability of intelligence assets in the theater's areas of operations and the impact on planning.
  • Work closely with intelligence community planners and advise them on the state-of-play with COCOM operational planning.
  • Responsible for maintaining an established coordination process with the potential of incorporating new elements in a fast-paced, dynamic planning environment.
