As a Sr Principal Engineer Support Specialist, you’ll serve as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives. The subject matter expert we seek will have significant experience in monitoring and reviewing operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. We’ll rely on you to develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development, perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification or electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems, as well as formulate and recommend corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of job-related experience.
  • CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Bachelor’s of Science degree or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Recognized internally and/or externally as a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple adjacent disciplines/fields
