At GM Financial, Senior Principal Engineers are both visionary leaders and hands on builders. Principal Engineers work on our hardest problems, help establish technical standards and drive the overall technical architecture, engineering practices, and engineering methodologies for products that delight our customers. We are reimagining Employee customer experience in Dealer Originations and rebuilding the platform from grounds up on Salesforce. As a technical leader and subject matter expert, the Senior Principal will be a key influencer in rebuilding the platform. The Senior Principal will work with leaders in the business and technology to Shape up the overall platform and execution strategy. The person in this role is also expected to be an innovative leader and influencer, acting as an avid promoter of product and technology improvements to enhance productivity and performance of the product. This person represents GM Financial in the broader community and serve as a de-facto ambassador for the organization. It is important for the Senior Principal engineer to follow the industry trends closely and adopt new technologies that provide business value.
