Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Program Quality Engineer 4 to be located at our Baltimore, MD location. The quality applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Quality and Mission Assurance team to support the Navigation, Intelligence, and Connectivity Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in quality, engineering or manufacturing.
  • 4 or more years of experience with quality engagement across program life cycle; proposal experience; and quality related data analysis.
  • Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.
  • US Citizenship.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Ability to create and manage databases.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • ASQ Certifications (CQM, CQE).

Responsibilities

  • Implement QMA Engagement strategies across the program life-cycle from supporting new business pursuits to supporting fielded systems.
  • Act as the main Quality focal point for the program and be responsible for applying and maintaining quality evaluation techniques and control systems to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers, supply chain, program management, contracts, engineering, and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place and maintained.
  • Perform assessments of the program activities to ensure compliance with stated requirements.
  • Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
  • Perform analysis of program quality data to assess and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Measure and monitor supplier performance, chairing the material review board, reviewing and approval of technical documentation, establishing program corrective action boards and interfacing with upper management on quality related issues.
