About The Position

This role owns defining the AWS network ASIC strategy. This role requires
understanding current and future customer workloads that our network must
support and translating these needs into required and desired ASIC features and
functionality. Once internally aligned the person in this role will engage with
multiple technology suppliers to understand technology trends and to influence
future ASIC design to ensure AWS has the right network silicon that can be
sourced from multiple suppliers to meet our customer needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of network development experience.
• 10+ years of ASIC experience.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and proven methodologies for the full software development process (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
