About The Position

We are looking for a Sr. Systems Specialist to serve as a technical expert responsible for the successful deployment, maintenance, and security of EHR integration technologies across diverse practice environments. This role acts as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex application installations, specifically focusing on terminal server environments and modern, tech-enabled deployment methodologies. We are deploying a portfolio of EHR overlay solutions to present value based care insights directly in our practices’ EHR workflows, and this role will play a critical part in ensuring technical success of those deployments. The Sr. Systems Specialist will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical execution and organizational security, ensuring that all deployments follow best practices and robust risk mitigation strategies to protect both Aledade and its partner practices. They must possess deep technical expertise in endpoint management tools and remote access pathways while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They will collaborate with practice IT resources and Aledade implementation, product and engineering team members to 1) proactively identify and mitigate any barriers to deploying our point of care solutions into practices at scale, 2) provide expertise on installation and broad automated deployment options for our point of care products within our associated practices, and 3) advise practices on use of their existing endpoint management, remote monitoring and management, and/or automation scripts to ensure broad deployment of Aledade-related tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; significant relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of educational requirements.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical systems engineering or Tier 3 support roles, 3+ years direct customer facing experience
  • 3+ years experience implementing technology solutions in healthcare IT settings
  • Deep technical expertise in terminal server environments and remote access protocols (RDP, Citrix, Parallels).
  • Proven experience deploying software via InTune, NinjaOne, or other enterprise-level RMM/endpoint management tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation of software deployments, configurations, and maintenance on endpoints and servers

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and de-escalate priority technical implementation issues in a customer facing capacity and coordinate across teams to find resolutions

Responsibilities

  • Tier 3 Technical Escalation & Deployment. Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for EHR Overlay application installs and updates, particularly within complex terminal server environments. Lead "tech-enabled deployment" initiatives for EHR overlays using RMM and endpoint management tools such as InTune, NinjaOne, or similar platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical blockers related to application deployment and performance in production environments.
  • Environment Architecture & Testing. Build and maintain Aledade testing and terminal server environments tailored for various client-server (desktop-based) EHRs. Configure and manage multiple access pathways for these environments, including Citrix, Parallels, and RDP, to ensure seamless integration testing. Collaborate with the broader product, engineering, and implementation teams to validate new overlay versions against diverse EHR desktop configurations.
  • Security & Enterprise Systems Liaison. Act as the primary technical "connective tissue" between the Practice Success team and Aledade’s IT and Security teams. Ensure all deployment processes and environment configurations adhere to organizational best practices and security standards. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard Aledade data and the integrity of partner practice systems.
  • Leadership & Continuous Improvement. Contribute to the development of technical playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams. Provide thought leadership on modernizing deployment strategies to increase scale and efficiency. Mentor junior team members on complex terminal server architectures and endpoint management best practices.
