The Sr Practice Operations Specialist is responsible for enforcing business management practices and ensuring compliance with operational policies across all ambulatory care areas of the University of Rochester Medical Faculty Group and Affiliates. This role involves leading front-end operations, project management, strategic planning, and talent management to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Lead front-end operations across all 425+ URMC ambulatory care areas, ensuring consistent standards and monitoring.
Promote and strategize workflows for efficiency and cost-saving measures in collaboration with clinic managers.
Enforce policies and metrics to establish administrative and clinical expectations across all sites.
Conduct assessments to maximize operating efficiency and implement electronic processes for work efficiencies.
Maintain and monitor statistics related to volume, productivity, and other relevant factors.
Ensure compliance with SMH, URMFG, and Affiliate policies, as well as regulatory requirements through site visits.
Assist with project management activities impacting front-end staff, including liaising with various departments and ensuring project goals are met.
Consult with leadership to develop and implement an ambulatory structure that streamlines care delivery and improves patient satisfaction.
Assist in talent management, focusing on employee engagement, retention, and training.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent training or experience in a relevant specialty.
5 years of relevant experience, including substantial work at a managerial level or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Revenue cycle management experience preferred.
Experience with Epic Cadence preferred.

Competitive hourly pay range of $29.05 - $40.67.
