Job Summary: The Sr. Plumbing Engineer serves to design plumbing systems for buildings such as high-rise buildings, Hospitality projects, K-12 schools, retail/mixed-use spaces, and commercial spaces. In this role you won’t just manage plumbing projects - you’ll drive them forward as an integral part of our cross-functional teams, turning ambitious ideas into reality. Along the way, you’ll cultivate strong client partnerships, orchestrate every phase from concept to completion, and ensure flawless execution.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating design with multiple disciplines and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of plumbing systems layout, fixture selection, and equipment specifications
  • Proficiency performing flow calculations, pipe routing, and fixture unit counts
  • Familiar with applicable plumbing codes (IPC, UPC), accessibility guidelines, and water/energy efficiency standards
  • You have +6 years of experience in plumbing design and construction for healthcare, education, hospitality, and other commercial projects

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Design domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, natural gas, and medical gas systems for various facility types
  • Produce plumbing design drawings using Revit software
  • Conduct field investigations to assess existing conditions and gather project data
  • Ensure quality control, scheduling, and delivery of plumbing design documents
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams
  • Perform pipe sizing, pressure loss calculations, equipment selection, and code compliance analysis
