Requirements

  • Minimum of four years plumbing experience around machinery required.
  • Completion of trade school or union-backed licensing program in lieu of high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • State of Nebraska Journeyman Plumber/Fitter license required.
  • Basic computer, email, and database skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of customers (e.g., patient care providers, patients, visitors, management, etc.) required.
  • Mechanically inclined and proficient with plumbing tools, drain cleaning equipment, and diagnostic devices required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics required.
  • Current valid motor vehicle operator license and ability to meet and maintain insurability required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master plumbing license preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare facility systems (medical gas, biohazard waste lines) preferred.
