Forescout is growing fast and is seeking a dynamic, results-orientated Sr. Platform Engineer to join our team. Develop and enhance all stages of the development pipeline to accelerate our engineering teams. Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms. Architect and maintain highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant infrastructure in the cloud. Drive automation initiatives across the engineering organization. Champion a high velocity culture, promoting collaboration, transparency, and shared responsibility. Lead incident response and post-mortem processes for infrastructure issues. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve system performance and delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with a technical bachelor's degree.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving in complex distributed environments.
- Deep understanding in how to build quality software.
- Excellent leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- In-depth understanding of CI/CD strategies, SRE, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Experience implementing an IDP.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including architecture and cost management.
- Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and container ecosystems.
- Mastery in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Fluent in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong grasp of networking, security, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001).
