About The Position

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT). $1,000 New Hire Sign On Bonus! Schedule 40 hours per week Monday 1:00am -9:30am Tuesday 1:00am - 9:30am Wednesday 2:00am - 10:00am Thursday 1:30am - 10:00am Friday 1:30am - 10:00am Possible holiday rotations based on business needs Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

2-4 years of experience, preferred
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred
Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time.
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
Ability to use computers and tablets
Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
Applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasks
Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues
May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works with limited supervision.
Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members

Responsibilities

Assigns delivery routes to drivers and makes adjustments as needed
Processes incoming packages for pharmacy use
Performs equipment checks for daily use
Perform quality control on prepared radiopharmaceuticals
Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
Processes packages returned from customer locations
Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
