About The Position

The Sr. People Ops Rep handles all aspects of HR, being a 'jack of all trades' for OddBytes globally. You'll be busy with recruiting, onboarding, employee issues, benefits, performance, and making sure we follow all the rules. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to pivot quickly as needed. You'll also be the key contact in charge of our HR system, Rippling, and help create HR plans, keep records, and work on making OddBytes a great place to work for all of our employees! Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct hands-on experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a small, dynamic business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle HR issues proactively.
  • Comfortable with HR software for managing employee information and benefits, with bonus points for experience with Rippling.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and tasks.
  • Up-to-date on HR trends, employment laws, and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Team up with hiring managers to figure out who we need, handle everything from screening resumes and scheduling interviews to making offers and helping new folks get settled in smoothly.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Use tools and market info to help managers set fair and competitive salaries, and manage all benefits like health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and other perks.
  • Performance Management: Help run the performance review process, collect necessary information, and monitor everyone's progress.
  • Training & Development: Set up and run training programs, help identify training needs, find trainers, schedule sessions, and track participation.
  • HR Administration: Keep employee records in Rippling organized and up-to-date, handle leave requests, manage attendance, and perform other HR admin tasks.
  • Employee Engagement: Work with employees and managers to implement ideas that boost morale and make OddBytes a great place to work.
  • Employee Relations: Build trust, help resolve disagreements, maintain confidentiality, and provide feedback to all levels of staff.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, workplace rules, and company policies, keeping accurate records and updating policies as needed.
