About The Position

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. As a Manufacturing Engineer for one or more Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), you'll be directly responsible for bring engineering designs for complex electronic assemblies to reality. You'll work closely with the Design Engineering and Supplier Manufacturing teams to ensure new designs are optimized for manufacturing while driving improvements in yield, cycle time, and cost for existing hardware. Your expertise will be invaluable in bringing satellite hardware to life. Come solve the difficult and rewarding engineering challenges in developing a highly reliable, power efficient, performant, low-cost satellite bus and payload. As a Sr. PCBA Manufacturing Engineer, you will work across design engineering, supply-chain, quality, and our manufacturing partners to drive Amazon Leo electrical sub-system and PCBA manufacturing and delivery. You must have the ability to dive deep on the details to identify, understand and solve difficult technical problems and also utilize a system level approach to prioritize issues for whole program. You use data to drive manufacturability, reliability, and quality objectives in design and development teams.
