About the Role The Sr Payroll Consultant will be tasked with ensuring the successful implementation of the Workday Payroll solution. The Sr Payroll Consultant will provide Workday product and implementation expertise to their engagements. They will work with their clients to understand their business requirements and help configure and test the Workday solution. The Sr Consultant will take direction and provide status to the Engagement Manager assigned to their project. Become a specialist in the Workday Payroll product suite

Requirements

• Sr Payroll Consultant (P4) Experience (6+ years) implementing Payroll and Human Capital Management solutions
• Previous consulting experience (6+ years) with a consulting/software company
• Experience (6+ years) implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP or similar applications
• Experience (6+ years) with the following functional areas: Payroll, Time & Labor, Labor Costing, Labor Allocation, Payroll Accounting, HCM business process, Benefits, Absence Management, Compensation, Performance Management
• Principal Payroll Consultant (P5) Experience (8+ years) implementing Payroll and Human Capital Management solutions
• Previous consulting experience (8+ years) with a consulting/software company
• Experience (8+ years) implementing Workday
• Experience (8+ years) with the following functional areas: Payroll, Time & Labor, Labor Costing, Labor Allocation, Payroll Accounting, HCM business process, Benefits, Absence Management, Compensation, Performance Management
• Ability to travel 50% or more of the time

• Proven solutions design skills, with the ability to analyze business challenges and develop effective solutions that leverage technology and optimize resources
• Expertise in strategic business consulting, including market analysis and financial acumen, to drive organizational growth and performance
• Exceptional relationship management skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues to foster collaboration, loyalty, and a positive work environment

Responsibilities

• Perform the following on a customer engagement:
• Elicit and document customer business requirements
• Configure the Workday solution to meet requirements
• Document solutions for the client to reference in the future.
• Support the client and data conversion teams in converting legacy data into Workday
• Support the integration teams in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions
• Assist the client in testing the Workday solution
• Transfer Workday system knowledge to the customer to ensure customer satisfaction in their production environment.
• Communicate regularly with the project engagement manager regarding forecasting hours, time reporting, projects risks, and mitigations.
• Work with Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints
• Help mentor new Consultants
• Find opportunities to position other service offerings
• Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants
