We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to play a critical role in managing and optimizing our payroll operations. This position requires a meticulous professional with a strong understanding of multi-state payroll, tax compliance, systems and reporting. The ideal candidate will primarily oversee our hourly payroll processes, provide essential support for salaried payroll, contribute to continuous process improvements. This position reports to the J.M. Huber Corporate Payroll Manager. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature, overseeing Huber's US payroll processes and procedures. Utilizes subject matter expertise in payroll and related systems and vendors to identify and recommend ideas for continuous improvement in payroll operations, as well as ensure timely, accurate delivery of payrolls and related services. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals. Coordinates and oversees an outside payroll service provider responsible for managed payroll services, payroll tax and garnishment processing. Reviews the computation of pay and ensures the company payroll policies are in accordance with government regulations. Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks. Analyzes, makes recommendations, tests and deploys business processes, reports, programs, etc. related to the payroll system and subsystems. Specialist in complex payroll related technical and business matters and able to troubleshoot issues.
