About The Position

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Sr. Patient Services Manager position for UI Health located in Chicago, IL . The Sr. Patient Service Manager will support the Patient Services Operation in the Food & Nutrition Department and will be responsible for developing and executing dining solutions to meet patient and customer needs and tastes. This person will utilize technical training and interpret government mandated nutritional standards in the healthcare industry on food health to develop healthy menu implementation plans. Directs the patient feeding process, quality assurance and drives patient satisfaction scores and nursing relationships.   COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $80,000.00 to $85,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. Requirements

  • Requires 3-5 years of food service management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Healthcare Food Service experience required.
  • Must be a self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience managing, motivating and engaging a large workforce.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer services and organizational skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • A college education in Nutrition or a Registered Dietitian credential is preferred.
  • SERV Safe Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning and executing consistent nutrition and patient communications and strategies and serve as a nutrition/patient resource across a healthcare facility.
  • Create and manage a network of thought leaders to support nutrition issues and strategies across the component.
  • Manage and control resources and materials to ensure quality, adequacy of supply, and cost control within budgetary guidelines.
  • Directs patient food service activities, complying with established standards inc. the patient feeding program and delivery of trays to patient units.
  • Leads patient service managers, supervisors and staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients.
  • Owns the 'Adopt a Floor' program and ensures rounding is conducted on patients/departments.
  • Oversees the diet office and the service ambassador program.
  • Records safety and sanitation compliance
