About The Position

The Senior Patient Accounting Representative is responsible for account management, including checking for unpaid claim status either electronically or by phone. This role involves working with third-party carriers or intermediaries and following standard Operating Departmental Procedures to ensure prompt payment of Hospital claims for assigned financial classes and Payors. The representative will also collaborate with other departments to drive payer collections and communicate process issues and improvements to the Patient Account Lead.
