Responsible for collecting and entering complete and accurate demographic, personal and financial information pursuant to the registration process. Including the correct entry of physician orders for prescribed tests, supplies and procedures. May be asked to contact the patient the day before arrival to remind them of the appointment, set the expectation for payment, and answer any questions the patient may have. Preceptor to new hires. Able to float to one or more practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum 3 to 5 years in a customer service focused environment.
• Computer and data entry experience preferred.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and enter complete and accurate demographic, personal, and financial information during the registration process.
• Ensure correct entry of physician orders for prescribed tests, supplies, and procedures.
• Contact patients the day before arrival to remind them of appointments, set payment expectations, and answer any questions.
• Serve as a preceptor to new hires.
• Float to one or more practices as needed.
