About The Position

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. The AMER Industries and GenAI PSA Team consists of Industry domain specialist solution architects, who drive the regional Industry technology strategy through partners. As an ECRT (Engineer, Construction, Real Estate and Transportation) PSA for the Enterprise segment, you will be working with partners to build and deliver innovate technology solutions to solve various industry use-cases, as well as supporting customers as they deploy these solutions. You will possess the deep industry background, and/or consulting experience that enables you to engage at the CXO level with our line-of-business (LOB) customers and partners. You will demonstrate credibility as an industry expert, and interact with partners, enterprise customers and AWS Global sales/field representatives to own, shape and deliver technical leadership working with your business counterpart. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new technologies that will impact the ECRT domains as well as be hands on enough to build prototypes and guide partners. You should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through partners, with prior solution evangelization, and program successes.

Requirements

10+ years industry work experience, including technical leadership roles within the relevant industry is strongly preferred.
8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
10+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS

Nice To Haves

Additional experience in consulting or business development, specifically within the industry domain is also preferable

Responsibilities

Be the industry thought leader, and share insights on technical trends, growth areas, including AWS focused Partner capability and capacity.
Build and manage strategic relationships with diverse industry focused Partner cohorts including G/SIs, G/ISVs, including CXO-level connects with customers, and partners.
Build new partner solutions and solve partner/customer problems as they arise.
Technically enable partners through deep hands-on workshops and live presentations.
Be a GenAI thought leader for your respective industry and build these capabilities into innovative industry solutions.
