About The Position

The Partner Sales Manager grows the Partner channel in support of the Genesys revenue goals through nurturing strategic partnerships and generating partner opportunities. This individual will be responsible to incent, train, and enable partners (TSD and VAR) in their region and are measured by monthly opportunity generation and closed deal flow. We look for individuals who have a proven track record of overachievement and WINNING!

Requirements

  • Experience working with partners in the TSD and VAR Channel
  • A self-starter with a natural curiosity and outgoing personality
  • Ability to recruit and develop top partners in assigned region
  • Strong understanding of opportunity qualification, deal cycles, and forecasting accuracy
  • Interface at all organizational levels maintaining strong working relationships with others
  • Extremely strong organizational and time management skills
  • BS or BA degree or equivalent work-related work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing relationships with TSD and VAR partners within assigned region to ensure opportunity and deal flow requirements are met to meet revenue targets in assigned territory
  • Maintain regular communication with partners to keep them up-to-date and informed on Genesys product updates and strategy
  • Present training to Sales Partners on products and sales tools
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams within Genesys (including solution consulting organization, product marketing, sales, sales operations, etc.) to deliver a world class experience for our Partners
  • Align regional sales teams with relevant partners through targeted demand generation and account mapping activities
  • Assist sales and partners with any issues or conflicts that may arise during opportunity registration or during the field engagement process
  • Track forecast and sales process alignment to ensure progression of opportunities to closure
  • Hold partners and the stakeholders accountable to agreed upon goals through regular cadence meetings to manage and track progress
