About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Management Trader to join our team at Shell Trading Risk Management, LLC. This key position will primarily focus on developing and growing our refined products portfolio while contributing to the broader commodities business. The role requires structuring and executing strategies that drive gross margin and enterprise value through innovative risk management products. The ideal candidate will combine deep market knowledge with strong relationship management skills to expand our customer base while ensuring regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Sr Trading Risk Management Manager, this role is part of the Trading & Supply business. You will lead and collaborate with team members within STRM and across T&S in the US and Canada and have direct accountability for value delivery and future growth of the portfolios. As the Senior Risk Management Trader / Originator you will be responsible for building and managing the portfolios, focusing on generating value through strategic business development, working with mid-level and C-Suite executives, working across T&S to onboard clients and counterparties, manage credit risk, deal-making, and staying compliant. The Portfolio Includes North America OTC derivatives for crude, refined products, natural gas, power, and natural gas liquids.
