About The Position

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Sr. Oracle Finance Business Analyst to support our client’s contract needs. This position is fully remote within the United States. Responsibilities Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. They have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business and the IT needs of that customer. Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flows. May also be functional experts in financial, program control or logistical areas. Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization. Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out. Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage. Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program. Invoice creation (import, manual, web ADI) and invoice approval. Vendor creation including manul creation, uploding and creating vendor payment. FA (asesset creation, depreciation and retirement). GL (journal creation and apporval, budgets and statements). Retail (invoice creation - manual, EDI, RMS generated), (invoice matching - auto, manual and discrepancy resolution).

Requirements

Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, and common Java libraries.
Profiecent in requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, DB queries , and BI publisher reports.
Experience in BI Publisher, Toad, SQL Developer and DataLoad.
Clearance Required: Must be able to acquire and maintain Suitability/Public Trust clearance

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience converting applications from Oracle ADF (JSF-based) to Angular-based front-ends.
Self-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience working with legacy systems and guiding technical modernization efforts.
Proven experience with ADF application maintenance and migration projects.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Familiarity with security best practices for web and cloud applications.
Understanding of Oracle WebLogic and other components from the ADF ecosystem
