About The Position

The Senior Oracle Database Administrator / Engineer is a key team member supporting a high‑availability, mission‑critical environment. This role requires flexibility to support evening and weekend operations as needed. Key Responsibilities: Administer and engineer enterprise‑scale Oracle database solutions in a high-reliability mission environment. Design, model, and optimize Oracle databases to support large‑scale and enterprise database services. Gather, analyze, and interpret customer requirements related to database migration, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and tuning. Implement and support Oracle RAC configurations and RMAN backup and recovery solutions in production environments. Manage and enhance database security, including Data Guard, Database Vault, Label Security, and data migration activities. Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control for monitoring, management, and performance optimization. Operate independently while communicating effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Senior Oracle Database Administrator with 10+ years of experience supporting large‑scale or enterprise Oracle database environments.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience administering and engineering Oracle databases, including database design and modeling.
  • Proven experience with Oracle RAC and RMAN backup and recovery in production environments.
  • Strong background in database security, including Data Guard, Database Vault, Label Security, and data migration.
  • Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
  • DOD 8570 Certification
  • This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
