Job Title: Senior Database Administrator (DBA) - Oracle and DB2 Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite - 5 days a week) Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator skilled in managing Oracle and DB2 databases. This role involves optimizing database performance and ensuring data security and availability.
Requirements
- Expertise in DB2, Oracle, SQL, and Liquibase.
- Strong knowledge of DBA fundamentals and data structures.
- 7-15 years of experience in database administration.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with SQL+, Data Analytics, Java 17, and COBOL.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, defect-free projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Oracle and DB2 databases.
- Optimize database performance and resolve technical issues.
- Implement backups and recovery strategies.
- Automate database deployments using Liquibase.
