Requirements

  • Great foundation in Physical Optics, lasers, plasma sources, detectors, and image sensors.
  • Deep understanding of hardware technologies and systems engineering.
  • Proven hands-on experience developing and prototyping sophisticated electro-optical setups.
  • Skilled in working with leading suppliers to develop sophisticated components and subsystems.
  • Expertise in system modeling, error budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Proficient in MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW for data analysis and experimentation.
  • Hard-working and adaptable—comfortable navigating ambiguity with minimal direction.
  • Collaborative mentality with the ability to lead small teams and drive execution.
  • Experience defining work plans, DOEs, and test strategies.
  • Confident communicator who can lead technical reviews and influence decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with semiconductor processes, X-ray, DUV, or VIS-IR metrology systems.
