About The Position

Position based at Temple University Hospital main campus, however travel required occasionally to satellite sites at Ft. Washington, Jeanes, and Chestnut Hill Hospital, as needed for coverage. Under the direction of the Ophthalmology team assists by taking histories, auto fractions lensometry, K-reading, visual fields, and A and B scans. Oversees daily operations related to patient care and through put, rooms patients, performs special tests and testing. Participates in regulatory readiness / compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• 4 years relevant clinical experience Required.
• Surgical assistance experience Required.
• Experience with patient work-up Required.
• Experience with related diagnostic tests and equipment Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Ophthalmology team by taking patient histories.
• Perform auto fractions lensometry, K-reading, visual fields, and A and B scans.
• Oversee daily operations related to patient care and throughput.
• Room patients and perform special tests and testing.
• Participate in regulatory readiness and compliance initiatives.
