Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • An advanced degree in operations research, engineering, applied math, statistics, computer science or information technology.
  • 12+ years of experience within DoD.
  • Experience using scripting languages (Python and R) for data processing and analysis.
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks and RMarkdown for reproducible products.
  • Experience with interactive visualization tools (RShiny, pyShiny, Dash).
  • Experience generating and presenting reports and visualizations.
  • Experience with time series and geospatial data analysis methods.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and containers.
  • Experience querying databases using SQL.

Nice To Haves

  • 12+ years of DoD experience.
  • Experience as a military ORSA.
  • Experience working in government/defense labs.
  • Knowledge of military force structure and tactical messaging.
  • Experience with major DoD experimentation events.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Test Resource Management Center's (TRMC) Big Data (BD) and Knowledge Management (KM) Team.
  • Analyze DoD Test & Evaluation data to provide insights.
  • Enable the development of data-driven decision analysis products.
  • Apply novel methods from data science, machine learning, and operations research.
  • Support analytic workflow and product development and testing.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify analytic requirements.
  • Communicate data-based insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Run and operate CHEETAS and other tools, demonstrating them to stakeholders.
  • Gather use cases, requirements, gaps, and needs from stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on training sessions with end users.
