About The Position

The Senior Site Manager is the overall leader responsible for end-to-end warehouse performance, including safety, service delivery, financial results, and customer satisfaction. This role functions as the site’s general manager, with full ownership of operational execution across both physical and information flows, supported by two direct reports leading each area. This leader is accountable for building a high-performance, safety-first culture while ensuring all customer SLAs, operational metrics, and financial targets are consistently met or exceeded. In addition, the role oversees vendor management, facility maintenance, and procurement coordination to support seamless, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of warehouse or distribution operations experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience with direct people management
  • Experience managing end-to-end warehouse operations
  • Working knowledge of WMS and inventory management systems
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and OSHA requirements
  • Experience managing budgets and operational costs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a site-level leadership or general manager role
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership experience
  • Experience managing both operational and system/data workflows
  • Vendor management and procurement coordination experience
  • Experience in 3PL, 4PL, or customer-facing logistics environments
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead Site Operations
  • Own overall site performance across safety, service, quality, and cost
  • Provide leadership and direction to two direct reports: Physical Flow (inbound, outbound, inventory movement) and Information Flow (WMS, reporting, inventory accuracy, data integrity)
  • Ensure alignment and coordination between physical and system-driven processes
  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Drive Safety & Compliance
  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture across all site operations
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards, internal policies, and customer requirements
  • Lead safety programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Hold team members and vendors accountable to safety expectations
  • Manage Customer Relationships & SLA Performance
  • Own the customer relationship at the site level, including communication, issue resolution, and performance reviews
  • Lead regular SLA reviews to ensure all KPIs and contractual obligations are met
  • Develop and present performance metrics, scorecards, and continuous improvement plans
  • Ensure proactive communication and rapid response to service risks or failures
  • Oversee Operational Flow
  • Manage and optimize both: Physical flow: receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and Information flow: WMS transactions, inventory accuracy, reporting, data integrity
  • Ensure synchronization between system data and floor execution
  • Drive process improvements to increase throughput, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Own Vendor & Facility Management
  • Manage all site vendors, including: MHE (maintenance, repair, and procurement), Facility maintenance and repairs, and Supply vendors (consumables, equipment, etc.)
  • Oversee facility upkeep, expansion projects, and capital improvements
  • Ensure vendor performance meets service, cost, and safety expectations
  • Partner on Procurement & Financial Coordination
  • Partner closely with procurement to: Create, update, and manage purchase orders (POs), Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and cost tracking
  • Maintain financial discipline across all site-related spend
  • Own Financial Performance
  • Manage site-level financial performance, including: Net Revenue (NETR) and Operating Expenses (OPEX)
  • Analyze financial results to identify risks and opportunities
  • Develop and execute action plans to improve profitability and cost efficiency
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives
  • Drive Continuous Improvement & Strategy
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across safety, service, cost, and quality
  • Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions
  • Lead strategic planning for site growth, efficiency, and capability expansion
  • Partner with leadership on network-wide best practices and innovation
