About The Position

The position provides clerical and administrative support to the human resources (HR) department. The role involves supporting the Package Handler talent acquisition process, maintaining personnel files, providing customer service for HR-related processes, and generating HR reports. Additional responsibilities include clerical support for management functions, assisting with audits, and ensuring timely delivery of packages while mitigating loss and damage. The position also involves reviewing and entering Independent Contractor settlement information and tracking various metrics for management review.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of experience in HR clerical support or related area.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • General business skills such as typing and data entry.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and operate standard equipment.
  • Knowledge of HR administration policies and procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
  • Ability to mentor and coach other employees.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support for the Package Handler talent acquisition process, including scheduling interviews and monitoring background checks.
  • Supports Non-Package Handler hiring by preparing interview guides and uploading completed interview documents.
  • Provides customer service and support for HR-related processes.
  • Maintains personnel files for all employees.
  • Supports auditing, reviewing, and processing HR paperwork.
  • Generates, compiles, and distributes HR reports.
  • Participates in special projects, including job fairs and retention events.
  • Provides clerical support to management and operational functions.
  • Reviews, researches, and enters data in various systems.
  • Compiles data and provides reports to management.
  • Serves as frontline customer service for inquiries and issues.
  • Assists management with Business Control Self-Assessment audit activity.
  • Performs address searches/corrections to ensure timely delivery of packages.
  • Tracks metrics related to Independent Contractor settlements and prepares reports.
