Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of senior/lead level experience in building construction trades, general building maintenance, and/or electrical fields
- Demonstrated knowledge of critical building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with use of hand and power tools
- Ability to work within precise limits, tolerances, and standards
- Familiarity with general use and functions of computer
Nice To Haves
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency with facility management software
- Strong interpersonal and people skills with ability to build effective working relationships
- Previous experience in Data Center environments
- Additional certifications in building trades or facility management
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance across multiple building trades including plumbing, carpentry, painting and wall repair, and machine servicing
- Conduct electrical diagnosis and repairs while managing HVAC preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation
- Read, interpret, and follow architectural and general engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications as well as manufacturer's installation and maintenance documentation
- Maintain critical building systems in Data Center environments following established protocols and operational procedures
- Work within precise limits, tolerances, and standards using hand and power tools
- Accomplish multiple tasks in an expedient manner while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity
- Interface with internal and external clients at multiple levels, providing excellent service and communication
- Participate in on-call rotation to ensure continuous facility operations support
