Sr. Office Assistant-Environmental Health Dept. Receive, data entry and assign all complaints regarding general nuisance, on-site, food establishments and solid waste from public and consumers; maintain all complaint files. Invoice, receipt and process permits for all permitting programs to include on-site, food establishments and solid waste restitution funds. Assist and backup for application process and scheduling of daily inspections for the on-site program and food service, responsible for maintenance files on inspections. Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail management and open record requests. Maintains departmental forms; translate and write forms in Spanish that are utilized in department. Responsible for processing departmental daily deposit of incoming funds. Assist with Nuisance Abatement projects; assist with SEP projects. Responds to telephone calls and directs to proper parties, Answers inquiries from the public and from other departments Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
