About The Position

Enjoy turning fast‑moving operational details into clear, actionable insights? As a Senior Network Operations Control (NOC) Bridge Reporting Specialist, you’ll capture, verify, and summarize daily operational activity for key stakeholders, including Executive Leadership. You’ll partner closely with NOC Bridge Leadership to research and confirm operational data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting. You’ll create timely communications on “day‑of” and short-term NOC activity, including potential incidents or disruptions, helping the organization stay aligned and ready to respond. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, real‑time visibility into the operation. Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX headquarters facility during business hours. Requirements

  • Knowledge of airline operations
  • Knowledge of a wide range of SWA operational metrics
  • Knowledge of SWA applications such as Altea Customer Management, CIRRUS, Ops Suite, and SWIFTWeb
  • Skilled in rapidly gathering, prioritizing, and disseminating varied and complex information in a fast-paced operating environment
  • Ability to create concise narratives and/or provide written summary from a broad base of data and resources
  • Ability to translate aviation concepts and vernacular into clear and easy-to-understand deliverables for internal audiences
  • Ability to maintain to maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to work within regulatory constraints and tight timelines
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of responsibility in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment
  • Ability to self-start and work autonomously with limited and disparate information
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees up to and including Executive Leadership
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and lead through influence
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in: Airline operations
  • Strategic communications including capturing and organizing operational details into clear written summaries
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be able to work extended work hours and shifts based on operational needs

Responsibilities

  • Capture, summarize, and present Operational details to all applicable stakeholders, including Executive Leadership
  • Partner with Network Operations Control (NOC) Bridge Leadership to record and summarize daily operational details
  • Research operational events using a variety of applications (e.g. OPS SUITE, SWIFTWEB, etc.) to confirm accuracy of NOC Bridge reporting
  • Drive efficiencies in NOC reporting by providing data and/or research to support other NOC reporting units
  • Maintain enterprise-wide Southwest Communication standards and protocols
  • Continuously review processes and procedures and recommend improvements to NOC Leaders regarding NOC Bridge Reporting protocols
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
