About the team and the role: TCGplayer connects hobbyists and hobby businesses to communities. We relentlessly improve the exchange of things and thoughts that fuel passions, providing the most compelling destination and tools for collectible card game enthusiasts and professional sellers! TCGplayer, now a part of eBay, promotes and drives growth of our products and services by connecting a global community of millions of buyers with tens of thousands of retailers in a $25B global collectible hobby market. Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) is responsible for the stability, reliability, and deployment of TCGplayer technology. Our primary function is to increase the efficiency of the organization through well-designed automation and infrastructure. As a Senior DBA you will work closely with Architecture, CPE, and Software Engineering to increase stability and reliability of our database platforms. You will be responsible for 24/7 operations of our databases, creating and maintaining efficient procedures and queries. Ultimately you will execute and automate operational processes quickly, accurately and securely. Your responsibilities will include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet TCGplayer needs.
