About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer with expertise in supporting large-scale deployments of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Email Security, Web Filtering, and modern cloud-based network security solutions. This position provides senior technical leadership for network security, including architecture, design, and support of enterprise-level solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, email and web filtering, and NAC. Responsibilities include overseeing operations teams, ensuring security compliance, participating in audits and assessments, developing strategic recommendations, monitoring regulations, researching innovative technologies, and collaborating with vendors to strengthen organizational security.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in large-scale IT environments supporting enterprise network security infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard technologies such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA for secure web and zero-trust remote access solutions.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale deployments of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and web filtering solutions.
  • Proficient in IT security principles, including ID access management, data protection, and system monitoring.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud networking, security configurations, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
  • Proven ability to lead firewall migrations, rollout new technologies, and document customer support procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Radius Servers and related authentication technologies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for security and networking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering-level oversight and level 3 technical support for a network security environment, including Firewall, IDS/IPS, Email Filtering, Web Filtering, NAC, etc.
  • Design, implement, and support a highly resilient enterprise network security infrastructure, serving in roles such as architect, designer, and technical support.
  • Oversee front-line operations support teams, ensuring adherence to security protocols and best practices.
  • Support internal and external compliance audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Develop strategic recommendations to enhance security systems and protect organizational assets, data, and user access.
  • Monitor and assess emerging regulations, laws, and standards related to information security and privacy.
  • Conduct research on innovative products and services, including proof-of-concept installations for network security solutions like VPN, MFA, and Zero Trust architectures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate and deploy security solutions.
  • Utilize a range of security technologies, including but not limited to: Identity and Access Management (IAM) LDAP Security Incident Response Systems Privileged Access Management (PAM) Database Monitoring End-User Password Management Single Sign-On (SSO) Systems
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to web tunneling, network configurations, system upgrades, user authentication, and Active Directory (AD) integration.
  • Partner with other technology teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of security technologies.
