Requirements

• In-depth understanding of network communication and routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF, not limited route manipulation, distribution, and filtering.
• Ability to design and administer a mixture of platforms and technologies included Routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Strong understanding of the TCP/IP stack and relation to network technologies
• Data Center design concepts for a high availability environment
• SD-WAN technology and design, deployment and troubleshooting
• Ability to perform discovery and documentation of complex multi-tier network environments
• Experience designing multi data center highly available architecture both in traditional and SDN technologies
• In-depth understanding of network documentation, physical and logical diagrams, and being able to provide detailed diagrams of solutions for engineers to follow and build from.
• Understanding of PCI security standards and practices
• 8+ years of network engineering, administration, design experience
• 3+ years in the financial technology industry
• 3+ years of solution architecture experience
• CCIE certification, or demonstrates equivalent experience and knowledge
• A professional personal presentation
• A team player who takes responsibility seriously
• Excellent communication skills with a thoughtful and direct style
• Self-starter who takes initiative to present ideas and solutions

• ACI Data Center administration and design
• SD-WAN design and administration
• IPv6 network experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting environments
• F5 LTM/GTM load balancer administration and design
• CheckPoint Firewall administration

Responsibilities

• Maximizes network performance; troubleshooting network problems; scheduling implementations; collaborating with network and application teams.
• Secures network system by identifying, creating, and enforcing policies and standards
• Evaluating new technologies and creating/performing proof of concepts
• Provide budget planning and estimates for future network solutions and projects
• Oversee configuration and installation network routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Provide guidance and oversight to other engineers to follow best practices
• Tier-4 Off-hour support may be required for maintenance windows and/or troubleshooting
