About The Position

We are seeking a talented Sr. Network Engineer to join our Portland, OR based client. This is a full-time, direct hire position. JOB SUMMARY: Plan, design, assess, implement and manage LANs, WAN’s, wireless networks including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless sytems, access points Responsible for the integrity, security and dependability of network infrastructure Perform as a SME relevant to network data center technologies Create procedures and documentation for 24/7 network support team Evaluate and recommend products and services to increase productivity and security Ensure network performance is in line to support the efficiency of the business Perform regular network security audits and upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of network engineering experience
• Strong understanding of LAN, WAN and wireless technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, wireless controllers and access points
• Advanced firewall knowledge
• Cloud management experience
• Some understanding of VOIP systems
