Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Solaris Systems Administrator to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role is pivotal in supporting our Army and Air Force customers as they transition their existing systems to a modernized enterprise system. The successful candidate will leverage extensive network engineering skills to tackle dynamic challenges and develop critical solutions that benefit the warfighter. This position involves collaborating with a team to design secure network architectures that meet customer needs and goals, while also leading by example to set high standards for technical excellence and proactive problem-solving. In this role, you will support the upgrade of our customer's operational environment to a more advanced platform and software product environment capable of supporting operations. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing a secure network architecture, ensuring that it adheres to principles of modularity, hierarchy, redundancy, resiliency, security, and scalability. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical problem-solving skills, who can work effectively both in a team setting and autonomously.
