About The Position

As a Sr. Network Engineer III (Wireless), you’ll deliver senior wireless engineering expertise supporting a highly visible, security-sensitive customer with the goal to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise wireless solutions across the federal government. Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Issued Top Secret with SCI security clearance.
  • Possess DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 441 Network Operations Specialist work role, such as Network+, Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, CISSP, or CCNP Security.
  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering with a primary focus on enterprise wireless networking.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex enterprise WiFi environments.
  • Hands-on experience conducting predictive and physical wireless site surveys, including RF analysis and performance validation.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve RF interference, coverage, and capacity issues in operational environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing wireless LAN controllers and enterprise access points.
  • Hands-on experience conducting predictive and physical RF site surveys.
  • Deep understanding of RF propagation and interference mitigation.
  • Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba controllers and access points supporting 802.11ax and 802.11be standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless, Ubiquity, and Ericsson edge solutions.
  • Explicit experience integrating wireless solutions with security systems and monitoring and supporting endpoint connectivity.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
  • Required technical certifications include CWSP or equivalent vendor wireless professional certification and Security+.
  • This position is designated as essential personnel supporting continuity of operations and may require work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct predictive and physical RF site surveys.
