We’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure a high-performing network infrastructure that drives our organization forward. In this role, you’ll lead complex network projects, optimize performance, enhance security, and ensure seamless connectivity across cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative network solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role
  • Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
  • Experience with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of network automation and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
  • Financial industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Network Design & Implementation: Lead the design and deployment of complex network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based infrastructures, to support organizational needs and growth.
  • Network Security: Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect the organization’s data and systems.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting for network-related issues, ensuring quick resolution to maintain business continuity.
  • Project Leadership: Manage and execute network-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Mentorship & Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems and applications.
