  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems.
  • Troubleshoot advanced network issues and provide expert-level support to resolve connectivity and performance problems.
  • Configure and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime.
  • Implement security measures to protect network integrity, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to accommodate business growth.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration and resolve technical problems.
  • Provide guidance to junior technicians and support staff.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for reference and compliance.
  • Manage network access controls and user permissions to safeguard data and resources.
  • Proven experience in network engineering with a strong focus on data center environments.
  • Proficiency in routing protocols such as OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol), and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching).
  • Solid understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), and SSL/TLS encryption.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems including Linux distributions (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows environments.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Citrix.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Java or SQL for automation tasks.
  • Strong skills in system administration across different platforms including macOS, BSD, Solaris, and openSUSE.
  • Background in telecommunication systems or VoIP technologies is a plus.
