Requirements

Proven experience in network engineering with a strong focus on data center environments.
Proficiency in routing protocols such as OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol), and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching).
Solid understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), and SSL/TLS encryption.
Familiarity with various operating systems including Linux distributions (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Citrix.
Knowledge of programming languages like Java or SQL for automation tasks.
Strong skills in system administration across different platforms including macOS, BSD, Solaris, and openSUSE.
Background in telecommunication systems or VoIP technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems.
Troubleshoot advanced network issues and provide expert-level support to resolve connectivity and performance problems.
Configure and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime.
Implement security measures to protect network integrity, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to accommodate business growth.
Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration and resolve technical problems.
Provide guidance to junior technicians and support staff.
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for reference and compliance.
Manage network access controls and user permissions to safeguard data and resources.
