WOONGJIN, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise networks, ensuring they are scalable and secure. This role involves managing advanced routing and switching protocols, implementing F5 load balancing solutions, and troubleshooting critical network issues. The candidate will also enforce security practices, support multicast protocols, and lead network upgrades and migrations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors is essential, as is the documentation and standardization of network operations. The position also includes mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

  • Design and Architect Enterprise Networks using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
  • Manage Advanced Routing & Switching Protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and EVPN.
  • Implement and Maintain F5 Load Balancing Solutions.
  • Troubleshoot Critical Network Issues related to L2/L3 connectivity.
  • Secure Network Infrastructure using IPSec, 802.1x, TACACS+, and firewalls.
  • Support Multicast and Manufacturing-Specific Protocols.
  • Lead Network Upgrades and Migrations with minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate Across Teams and Vendors for maintenance and escalations.
  • Document and Standardize Network Operations.
  • Mentor and Develop Team Talent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale, enterprise-class network operations.
  • CCNP Enterprise or CCIE certification (current or expired within the last 3 years).
  • Extensive experience with routing protocols and network technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues.
  • Experience with PIM, MSDP, Anycast-RP, and Multicast in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Network Monitoring Tools.
  • Strong customer focus and sense of ownership.
  • Must reside within a 1-hour drive of Taylor, TX.
  • Willing and able to commute to the office 5 days per week.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English.
  • Experience supporting networks in large manufacturing environments.
  • Expertise in high availability network environments.
  • Strong background in server network connectivity (Teaming, VPC, LACP).
  • Experience with F5 Load Balancing setups, including iRules.
  • Experience with Packet Capture Analysis and SSL certificates.
  • F5 Load Balancers or Palo Alto Firewalls certification.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux and scripting in Python, Ansible, or other automation tools.
