As a Senior Network Development Engineer working in AWS DX Networking, you will have end to end ownership (operations escalation, automation, engineering and implementation) of our current and newly developing IP networks. Senior Network Development Engineers in AWS Direct Connect own managing the Network for DX customers to create a highly available and reliable connectivity. They work closely with our product team to help define the customer experience of Direct Connect and other AWS network related products. They influence AWS network infrastructure organizations to ensure the network operates based on Direct Connect customer requirements. On a given day, our engineers will be diving deep to understand an issue in our network, proposing new ideas to make our network more reliable or easier to manage, or working with leadership to create the vision for our service.
