About The Position

The Sr. Network Administrator is responsible for assisting the Director of Information Technology in implementation, maintenance and monitoring for all aspects of the Circle the City network infrastructure and data management. This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all network devices, servers, desktop computers. The Sr. Network Administrator is to assist with systems security administration functions, network security audits, web monitoring; performs or assists in troubleshooting and diagnosing network issues with servers, computer and software. The Sr. Network Administrator is also responsible for managing projects with the Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendor for Athena, in the design, implementation and maintenance of the software to meet RBHA, State, Federal and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Administration, Implementation and maintenance of all SAAS based applications that include Office 365, Microsoft InTune, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Endpoint Management, Athena EHR, Compliatric
  • Installation, configuration, administration of all Circle the City network devices, firewalls, routers, switches, servers, desktop computers and all network security devices.
  • Maintenance, monitoring and security of all VPN, Fiber Optic Internet, Site to Site VPN.
  • Maintenance, monitoring and security of all servers, printers, copiers, and software used by Circle the City staff.
  • During and after hours support of Circle the City network and security related issues.
  • Develop network security device protocols that comply with HIPAA, RHBA, state and federal regulations.
  • Implementation of all physical key fob and camera based security systems.
  • Provide ongoing formal and informal computer training to Circle the City staff, contractors, and others, as needed.
  • Develops written documentation for software applications and procedures.
  • Document network security systems and procedures and the maintenance of inventory records on all equipment.
  • SQL Server Database administration knowledge is required
  • Assist in the development and testing of custom scripts for automation of network maintenance.
  • Meet with management and staff, program, test and debug, provide training and support.
