Sr .Net/Classic ASP Developer
About The Position
Alpha Omega is seeking a highly skilled Sr .Net ASP Developer/Classic ASP Developer for a Remote position on one of our prime Federal projects in Arlington, VA. Ideal candidate has previous experience working with federal and large commercial clients, financial, insurance and banking with a strong emphasis on user experience, usability, client interaction, customer satisfaction, and a clear understanding of new and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities: Support Mission Critical complex large scale application development and maintenance. Provide Tier 3 support for public facing applications. Design and develop quick prototypes. Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle. Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems. Provider development support on-premises application. Participate on an agile O/M team. Revise, update, refactor and debug code. Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Requirements
- Federal agency requires US Citizenship.
- Proficient communication, facilitation, mediation, and verbal and written communication skills to be demonstrated upon interview.
- Client-facing skills are required.
- 7+ years of experience in Microsoft legacy environment, ASP (Classic/Native), VB.NET, DLLs, COM+.
- Must have experience with Azure cloud environment, IIS Server on VMs.
- Experience with Active Directory, ADFS and Azure Entra.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, Microsoft TFS and CI/CD pipelines.
- Must have experience with SQL Server.
- Must have Experience with Stored Procedures and SSIS Packages.
- Possess high attention to detail with ability to follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures.
- Experience in solving complex business issues- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or similar degree.
Nice To Haves
- Full stack development experience
- Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
- Experience with Java and Spring boot is plus
- Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.
