About The Position

PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, is seeking a Sr National Accounts Support Specialist professional to work in our Irving, Texas corporate office. This position will be responsible for the following with additional duties assigned as necessary:

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task and be willing to work as part of a team.
  • Requires professional and confident telephone skills as well as proficient computer skills ideal candidate would have some knowledge of the building material industry.
  • We are looking for a 2 to 4 year college degree; or equivalent combination of education and at least one year of sales or customer service experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Advanced Excel skills (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in managing national account compliance a plus.
  • Photoshop and SAP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors Special Order process from National & Major Accounts and ensures shipping expectations are met
  • Monitors National accounts daily orders to ensure partner routing and compliance guidelines are followed
  • Investigates, challenges and resolves pending compliance fines prior to remittance deductions
  • Maintain and improve content of existing items on all National Account customer platforms
  • Uploads daily inventory levels to partner platforms
  • Manage internal SAP order blocks
  • Ensure new store orders are shipped complete and timely to store openings
  • Assists in resolving Major & National Accounts customer issues, questions and inquiries
  • Assists in generating weekly POS reports
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Works on .com initiatives, onboarding and maintaining data that populates our customer’s sites.
  • Copies data, compiles records and reports.
  • Provides administrative support to The National Account team as needed or requested.
  • Handles inbound calls to assist customer information requests.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions.
  • Operates all office machines such as computer, calculators and copier.
