About The Position

The Sr. Molding Technician - 2nd Shift at Cardinal Health is responsible for processing mold components in support of the Focus Factory. This includes the maintenance, repair, and operation of various types of molding, testing, printing, and packaging machines. The role involves collaborating with Engineering to improve the efficiency of the molding process, diagnosing and troubleshooting injection molding machines, and performing maintenance tasks. The technician will also be responsible for preparing machine production and maintenance reports, adhering to safety regulations, and completing good manufacturing and housekeeping procedures.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Process mold components in support of the Focus Factory.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve the efficiency of the molding process.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain injection molding machines.
• Remove, clean, and replace screws and other machine components.
• Investigate machine malfunctions and processing issues.
• Adjust automatic and semi-automatic machines.
• Start machines to test operation by producing parts for inspection.
• Prepare required machine production and maintenance reports.
• Use and maintain a variety of small hand tools.
• Adhere to safety regulations and use personal protective equipment.
