About The Position

As a Sr. Modeling & Simulation Systems Integration Engineer III , you’ll provide deep operational and domain expertise to support mission realism, training effectiveness, and modernization efforts across Air Force command and control and modeling and simulation environments. This role serves as a senior advisor to portfolio, product, and engineering teams, ensuring that simulation behaviors, scenarios, and capabilities accurately reflect operational needs and evolving mission requirements. The position plays a critical role in bridging operational users and technical teams and in guiding the transition from legacy simulation baselines to modernized architectures. Requirements

  • Hold an active U.S. Government issued Secret clearance
  • 10+ years of experience in USAF or Joint C2 and M&S domains, including direct involvement in AOC or operational training events.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate operational tactics, techniques, and procedures into simulation requirements and behaviors.
  • Experience advising software and M&S teams on scenario design, federation use, and training objectives.
  • Strong communication skills for working with Government operators, planners, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Advise the C2SET portfolio and product teams on operational realism, scenario design, and training relevance.
  • Work with Government operators, planners, and engineers to ensure that new capabilities, behaviors, and scenarios accurately reflect mission needs.
  • Support transition planning from legacy simulation constructs to modernized baselines, including recommendations on where to focus modeling effort and how to structure scenarios for exercises and test events.
