About The Position

Fabletics is looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer. As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality mobile applications and cross-platform solutions. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead small to medium mobile projects, and serve as a mentor to engineers within your team. You're a hands-on builder who thrives on solving complex mobile challenges, contributing to React Native codebases, and optimizing mobile development practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mobile software engineering with a strong track record of delivering scalable, high-quality React Native applications
• Deep proficiency in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and mobile development patterns for iOS and Android
• Strong understanding of mobile software design principles, platform-specific APIs, and mobile performance optimization
• Experience with mobile development workflows, app store deployment, and mobile CI/CD environments
• Passion for mentorship, team collaboration, and mobile engineering best practices

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development
• Experience with mobile analytics and mobile-specific cloud services

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development for mobile features and services across iOS, Android, and React Native platforms
• Lead small project teams and collaborate on mobile architectural decisions for your product area
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and set a high bar for mobile code quality and performance
• Partner with product managers and designers to define and scope mobile features with scalability, maintainability, and mobile-first user experience in mind
• Build React Native components, mobile tooling and automation to increase development efficiency and app reliability
• Contribute to mobile testing strategies including unit tests, integration tests, and device testing across platforms
• Diagnose and resolve production issues in mobile applications and participate in on-call rotations
• Collaborate with other engineers to evolve our mobile technical standards, React Native best practices, and cross-platform development processes
