As we expand our portfolio of AI experiences, we’re scaling our team to drive innovation and set a new standard for mental health care. We are hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to help build Rula’s first iOS and Android apps. You’ll work closely with a Staff Mobile Engineer, product managers, and designers to deliver impactful patient-facing features from day one. As a founding engineer, you’ll contribute to a brand-new codebase, shape our engineering practices, and play a critical role in making mental health care more accessible on mobile. This is a unique opportunity to combine deep coding with real product impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years software engineering experience, including 2+ years professional mobile development
  • 2+ years of experience with React Native
  • Experience shipping production mobile features on iOS and/or Android
  • Strong debugging, testing, and code quality discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) modules
  • Experience working on 0→1 mobile products
  • Contributions to shared mobile infra (CI/CD, component library, analytics) are a plus
